How to read these figures

The model is simple: the probability of a crash round reaching multiplier x is approximately RTP divided by x. At the same stake, a 20x target pays ten times as much as a 2x target, but is roughly ten times less likely to be reached.

Expected value is negative because RTP is below 100%. No multiplier removes that edge. Choosing an earlier or later cash-out only changes how much the results fluctuate. Use these figures to understand potential losses; they cannot provide a winning formula.

Calculator FAQ

How is the probability of reaching a multiplier calculated?

For a crash game with a known RTP, the approximate probability of reaching multiplier x is RTP divided by x. At 97% RTP, a round reaches 2x about 48.5% of the time and 10x about 9.7% of the time.

Why is the expected value negative?

RTP is below 100%. The difference is the house edge, which does not depend on your chosen multiplier. Cashing out earlier or later changes the variance, or how much results fluctuate, rather than the long-term average.

Does always choosing the same multiplier help?

A fixed multiplier can help you understand the risk you are taking, but it cannot beat the house edge. Lower targets mean smaller, more frequent payouts. Higher targets mean fewer, larger payouts. The long-term expected return is unchanged.

What is losing-streak risk and why does it matter?

It is the probability of losing several consecutive rounds. At a 5x target and 97% RTP, the chance of losing each round is 80.6%. The probability of losing all ten rounds in a given sequence is about 11.6%. Losses can accumulate faster than you expect.
